These briefs exert a compressive and support action on the abdomen to avoid that the tissues may yield and/or sog and to contain reducible inguinal hernias. In order to obtain the best functional results, a wide range of models offering a wide, comfortable and extremely flexible compression surface has been developed. Instead of pressing against the hemia, these briefs simply provide support to achieve better dynamic results: the support structures in the various models are shaped to run oblique compared to the waistband, which is lower in front and higher on the back. To avoid any excessive elastic forces, the materials used are marked by a cushioned return elastic force and a self-stabilizing action thanks to an exclusive system used in making this fabric. It is made of 100% cotton to provide the utmost hygiene, freshness and comfort. Some models have special interior pockets for the application of shaped anatomic hernia pads to exert a firmer support action on reducible inguinal hernias. These pads, too, are covered with a soft 100% cotton anatomic, self-shaping materials. These briefs are manufactured in accordance with the primary devices and in accordance with the Italian law (LD 24th February 1997, No. 46) introducing the same EU Directive.

Hernia brier

I’m finding the hernia brief very comfortable and holds the hernia in quite well. It’s a good idea until surgery can be preformed.

I purchased two different Pavis hernia support products. The Hernia blocker brief and later, because of issues with the fit, not size, but fit, the Boxer. Both do what they purport to do, support the abdomen.
But both suffer issues related to the inferior quality of the elastic waist band material used.
Why Pavis, at that price point, wouldn't you spend a few extra few dollars for more appropriate waistband for your products? i.e. one that is wider and doesn't fold over and roll down from day one. It is a historically well-documented problem which you seem to continue to ignore.
Example: The waistband on The Hernia Blocker brief needs to be wider and much more substantial to avoid the constant need to pull it up to maintain support.. (to the point where the inside bottom of the brief irritatingly chafes the family jewels.)
The Boxer is much more comfortable , but it too needs a better quality elastic waistband , one which like the Brief, does not roll down from day one.

Pain is gone

When I received the #655 Hernia brief, I put it on and noticed at the end of a hard working day, the pain was gone. Now, everytime I have to walk long distance or use physical strenght, I wear it. It feels tight at first but you get use to it and the brief is very comphortable.

Hernia Brief

Purchased a M-brace hernia brief a few months ago to try out. I found it to be very supportive and comfortable when golfing or working out, so decided to purchase a couple more.
