This model includes the popular features of the bestselling Athena combined with special upgrades to accommodate clients of all shapes and sizes. After extensive research and expert consultation, the engineers at Custom Craftworks developed unique improvements to safely and comfortably support prenatal work in prone position. Versatile enough to use for all of your clients!

The  Pregnancy is designed to convert to accommodate the abdomen and breasts of mothers-to-be. The stomach cut out includes a padded, adjustable sling that surrounds and supports your client’s abdomen at any stage of pregnancy. This also alleviates pressure on the pelvis. Breast recesses accommodate tender breast tissue and clients with unilateral mastectomies, implants or broad shoulders, facilitating relaxation and allowing deeper access. When used in the supine position, they encourage passive stretching and promote good body mechanics for the practitioner. The Athena Pregnancy comes with plugs for all cut outs to restore a flat table surface. The middle plug is reinforced from below with two bars when re-inserted back into the table.

The top-of-the-line construction makes the Athena Pregnancy extremely reliable and strong. The head end of the table is reinforced with thick plywood to maintain the standard Athena’s strength, thoroughly tested to a working weight of 650 pounds! Unlike most portable tables, which use two or three small hinges, the Athena is made with one, long hinge that extends the full width of the table for added strength and stability. Shiatsu release cables, aircraft quality and vinyl coated for added protection, make folding and opening your table a cinch! Seven ply reiki end panels offset legs and wires so you can comfortably perform seated work at either end of the table. Dual end accessory ports on both sides of the table provide extra convenience when positioning your clients and allow for versatility in a variety of settings. Dual knob construction creates extra stability.

American poplar legs are lightweight yet strong, resilient and resistant to warping. North American maple side rails, impervious to abrasion and indentation, provide added support and longevity. The frame is made of high-quality birch hardwood to ensure rock solid, professional strength. Comprised of 3" thick Multi-Layer Earth Cell Foam padding, covered by supple and skin-friendly PU vinyl (oil and waterproof), the Athena Pregnancy is firm, durable and easy-to-clean. Made with sustainably sourced wood, CFC-free foam and water based, non-toxic lacquers and finishes, the Athena is even environmentally friendly. Offered in several beautiful and unique color options as a focal point and statement piece or to complement your décor.
